How You Can Help
Every year Delaware Wild Lands, Inc. conducts an Annual Appeal for donations that provide necessary revenue to be used throughout the year to support our projects and operations. Your contribution will enable us to continue those efforts. If you would like your name added to our mailing list for the Annual Appeal, please send an email to us at dwl2@verizon.net, fax your request to 302-378-3629, or by phone at 302-378-2736.
Besides the Annual Appeal, contributions may be made in several ways. Checks made payable to Delaware Wild Lands, Inc. may be mailed to our corporate office at P.O. Box 505, Odessa, Delaware 19730.
Delaware Wild Lands, Inc. is eligible to receive direct designations through the Delaware United Way campaigns. Anyone wishing their Delaware United Way contributions to go to Delaware Wild Lands, Inc. needs only to write in our name and address on the pledge card. United Way will forward the donation to us.
Donations of appreciated stock, bonds, and mutual funds have tax advantages. Please contact our office for information.
In reviewing your Will and Estate Plans, please consider a gift to Delaware Wild Lands, Inc. You can request that your gift be used only for land acquisition or another project of interest.
A formal gift acknowledgement letter will be mailed to you. Contributions in response to the Annual Appeal are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, in as much as no goods or services are provided to donors in exchange for their gifts.
Delaware Wild Lands, Inc. is a charitable corporation recognized as such by the Internal Revenue Service under the provision of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Other means of charitable gifts are available. You should consult your tax advisor as to the appropriate method and effect of any gift you should care to make.
